Hey Liz ;-))

I have had two bowel obstructions that led to my resections. I certainly got the balloon effect in my stomach. But I couldn't go.

I don't know whether you get diarrohea with an obstruction. Usually the doctors will perform a colonoscopy and a CT scan to determine the problem. Obviously there is something wrong, because it's not normal to have such urgent bowels.

My problem was a floppy bowel, that kinked and obstructed. Believe me, I think that you should definitely get it seen to, and the sooner the better.
