I'm considering writing a book on adhesions- your opinions?

Hi folks,

I'm a freelance journalist and fellow adhesion patient. I've been very frustrated in my research because of the lack of information regarding our condition. Last night I got the notion that perhaps one should write a book on the topic. It would be a gargantuan undertaking (due to all of the technical aspects), but I think it can be done. I checked on Amazon.com to see if anyone else had capitalized on the idea, and sure enough, the only two publications available were very expensive ($85 and $175 respectively) and intended for use by doctors/surgeons only.

Here's a little survery for those interested. Please feel free to e-mail it to me, as well as any other ideas you have.

- Do you think a book on adhesions would be valuable to the ARD community? - Would you be interested in contributing your personal story/technical information/resources towards research for a book? - Do you think there's enough of a demand for information regarding adhesions to justify the energy and funds required for this kind of project?

I'd love input from everyone on the board. I doubt it'd be a huge book; probably 150 pages or less. If I get enough support, I'll approach some publishers over the next two weeks as well as some medical specialists in the field.
