Lesa,

I am now trying combination therapy. I was already taking Neurontin for migraines due to a spastic blood vessel in my temple. So, they increased that (my gyn and I figured because I was already taking it, it might explain why I dealt with the pain so well for so long), added Vicodin and extended relief Tylenol. (It's over the counter 'Arthritis' strength)

But now I'm having a lot of trouble with my lower back and right leg again, so I'm going to make an appointment with a pain specialist. I can't take Ibuprofen or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatories (oh, the gut ache and embarassment from the skin rash.....sure, let them live with it!), so maybe they can come up with another combo that might work.

I also try to take walks. Can't go far, but just looking at all my neighbors gardens helps (even if I do get green with envy, that's a good garden color, right?).

Don't ever forget to do the little things that you enjoy. The fight against pain involves all of you......after all, a smile from a friend can make you feel better no matter how much you hurt! ;o)))))!

Misery loves company, heh? We'll just keep smiling at each other until all of us aren't miserable any more. Then we'll stick together just because!

Hang in there!
