I have adhesions from a ectopic pregnancy. I had my left ovary and tube
taken out. That was in 1996. I am at a point where the pain is awful!!
I bloat up and cramp, at times it feels like a knife twisting. My sex
life is non-existant. Had an ultrasound, showed no cysts or fibroids,
did show thickening on my left side where the ovary and tube was
removed. So doctor said I have adhesions. Now, I have had people tell
me to get a hysterectomy and get it over with, my mom had fibroids and
they are hereditary I hear. Now I am reading that the surgery itself
can cause more adhesions...so...what now?? Sounds like I may be fighting
a lost battle. I am only 29 and would not mind a hysterectomy, surgery
does not scare me, but I would rather my body process menopause
naturally. Any advice is very much welcome and I am so very glad I have
found this wonderful place!! And best of all, I AM NOT ALONE...Thanks,
Christina
