I'm a 60 year old lady who had 3 pectus excavatums, part from birth and car accident. It's been 25 yrs since last surgery, I'm having terrible pain in chest area, mainly middle of sterum and just below (upper stomach). Been to many doctors, had 2 ribs removed recently, still hasn't helped. When I go to M.D. all I told is that I do have adhesions and will have to learn to live with it.

The pain (day and night) is terrible, I have medical insurance (Kaiser). I've been to many doctors for problem, put on many pain killers, was addicted to Vicodin, after 5+ years using, as told over and over nothing they can do and I will have to learn to live with it.

Can't eat much (lost 35 lbs.), always in pain, I even get real tired from anything that I try doing.

WHAT CAN I DO?????? I need help, not getting the right answers, I do need something done..... Help!!!!

Thanking you in advance.

Sincerely, Charlotte Altman

(hope not too long).....
