I had this same procedure done in July. It works the same as the balloon they use for opening of the arteries to the heart. The only thing I found a little unpleasant is when you wake up you might be a little sick to you stomach as they have to fill you up with more air than the usually colonoscopy. I would say go for it, it cannot hurt & could do a world of good.
