It sounds like it could be a hernia.CT scan is not going to show adhesions period. And the doctors know this. What you need to find out is if there is a 3D scan in your area. The new technology on a 3 dimensional x-ray will show adhesions. Dee

Well, I went to see my gyno today about the pain I have been having on my right side that goes all the way through to my back. It even goes down into my right leg sometimes.

This is the same exact pain I had back in 2001 when I had my 6th surgery. He did the pelvic exam and it hurt very bad. He said he felt a bulge on my right side. He wouldn't say what he thought it was. I have no gyno organs, so I am assuming this would have to be adhesions. He has set me up for a CT Scan tomorrow, but I know CT Scans don't pick up adhesions. Has anyone else ever had a doctor tell them they have a bulge inside of them. Could it be a hernia?
