I was wondering if anyone in New Jersey has found a good doctor to treat
adhesions. I have had four surgeries over the past 18 months for lysis
of adhesions, and after trying pain management and getting no relief
from it, am considering a fifth surgery. Three of my surgeries were
performed by my Ob/Gyn, and one was performed by Dr. Gerhart in PA.
After my last surgery (which included a hysterectomy), I got much worse
and the colon surgeon that I am now seeing tells me that I am most
likely full of adhesions again, but he can't give me very good odds for
success with a fifth surgery. I have considered going to Germany, but
have read on this message board about people who have gone, and only
felt relief for about six months. I've been seen by about 12 doctors
over the last two years, and am tired of hearing the same thing. If
anyone has found a good doctor in the NJ/PA/NY area, could you please
let me know?
