Hey all, just a heads up to the group.  Your medical records could speed up the process of getting some doctors to listen to you.  You should ALWAYS get copies (including films, disks, etc) of all your medical records.  You have the right to your own records, or your childs records.  Read them over for accuracy of your statements and make notes on them...it will prove to you how little drs listen.  Keep them together and take copies to any appointments.  Ask the dr when he/ she enters the room if they have reviewed the records you brought in.  Try to get them to do that BEFORE they do anything else...they will take a drs word for something when they won't take yours.  Also, be sure to get any charts from drs that have told you they cannot do anything for you.  You never know when these might be helpful also.

Christy who didn't do this 8 years ago and the drs office can't find the records, luckily the hospital still had theirs.
