Kris,

I am so excited for you!

I looked up your doctor. His name is listed on my insurance companies' site so if I were ever able to somehow get to him as a patient he would be part of what they call 'in-network' coverage.

It is sooooo tempting to make an appointment but as I stated earlier I am gun-shy due to my past experiences- I've driven far out of my way for nothing. I see his office as listed is in Plymouth, which is on the opposite side of town from me (there is nothing and nobody in St. Paul) but it would be worth it if he would take my complaints seriously and initiate investigation.

Plus, I was always under the impression that in order to see a surgeon that you had to be referred by a doctor but am not so sure that that is actually the case if you have insurance like mine that does not require a referral to see a specialist. And it sounds like part of a surgeon's job is to diagnose as well as treat conditions.

I wonder if he replies to potential patients' emails or phone calls?

Again, good luck and I am very hopeful for you, especially since he has treated all those nurses for the same thing, he must be doing something right!
