Anyway, his main office is in Minneapolis, near Abbott. He goes to West Health in Plymouth once a week, i think. Although I was referred to him, my insurance doesn't require that. i have seriously seen 2 colon surgeons, 2 GI doctors, a vascular surgeon and a pancreatic specialist besides Dr. Johnson over this past year. i know exactly what you mean about being gun shy to see a new doctor. I also wrote up my history for each one, as you did, only to be blown to the moon by all of them, except by one of the GI doctors, the pancreatic doctor and Dr.Johnson. The GI doctor that I liked as well as the pancreatic doctor all positively endorsed Dr. Johnson when i asked them about him. (it was the vascular surgeon who referred me.) He is seriously the most compassionate doctor I've ever met. I doubt that he would respond to emails or calls, but I'm not sure. if he's on your insurance, i think it would be worth your time to give it one more shot. He is kind and considerate. It was also evident that he'd read my medical records BEFORE I got there, which really impressed me! If you see him, please let me know how it goes!
