Rachel,
I recently had surgery to cut adhesions, and some of them were kinking my
colon as well. But I only had a laproscopy and a follow-up laproscopy
because I was part of a clinical trial testing a new adhesion-prevention gel
called Intergel. It will probably not be on the market in the US until next
year, but is available in Europe. I have my post-op on Thursday and I'll
know a little more then, but the surgeon was pleased with the gel's
performance.
Anyway, just wanted to say that I hope everything goes well.
