Hi Rachel and welcome to the forum. I do know exactly what you are
going through. My last surgery was to remove adhesions between the
large intestine, small intestine and where the round ligament and
descending colon were adhesed together. At the same time I had a total
abdominal hysterectomy, appendectomy and lysis of extensive dense
adhesions to the point where none of my organs were visible. My surgeon
used Seprafilm. I know the barrier is not a cure, but I do feel it has
slowed down the adhesions. My last two laparotomies were only 6 months
apart, so I am encouraged that I have gone this long (9months) without
surgery. I had to endure the upper GI, barium enema, colonoscopy, etc.
What are your symptoms? I would be glad to share any information and

informative, and most of all, you will realize that you are not alone.
