I had TAH/BSO,appendectomy 5/26.Since the minute I woke up everything
felt like it was pushed up under my rib cage.I had low horizontal
incision and that area feels fine.I kept waiting and waiting for this
feeling to go away and it hasn't.I feel very bloated and sometimes I can
almost feel food going through toward my right side.I was on the patch
and stopped it since I thought maybe it was contributing to the
bloating. If this is adhesions why is it so high up?Will a lap be able to
be done since I had Abd.Hyst?I went to Internist and he thinks Irritable
Bowel.Before my Hyst I had Colonscopy,Upper GI,small bowel
series,Gallbladder sonogram,dye through gallbladder.All negative.How
could adhesions caused problems this quick or did Dr. make mistake and
stitch something back wrong?I wonder if CT scan will show something up?I
have an appt with this Dr. on Friday and I don't know whether to go to
him or someone else and let them find the problem. Can a Dr, with
adhesion experience know when he goes in there if there has been a
surgery problem?HELP.Susan
