I don't want to say I'm glad you feel the same way but it is nice to know you can relate! >

I never had any trouble with dairy until I had my appendex removed. That is when all these digestive problems started.I have not tried lactaid does it really help?

I told my husband today I wondered if I should try the slimfast for the nutrients.

Even when I drank the ensure today it felt like it just sits in my stomach for a very long time.

I had no clue fiber could cause so much pain or problems. The Dr.s told me to take it to keep my bowels moving, but I think it just sits there and swells.

I hope your move is going well and I hope you can find a good Dr. I think I have totally lost all faith in the medical profession! It seems like when any of them touch me I just get worse. The reason I call myself brokenwing is because about 6 yrs ago I had a little place on the upper underside of my left arm. The Dr. cut a nerve and would not admit to it he just sent me to a pain specialist. I then had nerve blocks in my neck, this made the pain spread and I lose circulation in it it hurts all the time! Because of my history with adhesions the specialist would not even do anything he said that was probably the problem and there was nothing that could be done. All they seem to want to do is give you a script and send you on your way!

>I can afford the weight loss, as I've always been heavy...how thin have you

I was always heavy to and I always battled with my weight so this is all new to me. I am probably at the weight I should be for my height. So I really can't afford to loss much more. I have not talked to the Dr. cause I quit seeing them. I am just really angry and tired of dealing with them. But I know I need to do something about the protein cause I am lossing my hair.

Have you discussed this with your doctor? >I'd suggest if you can get some lactaid so you can tolerate lactrose...get

This really helped me alot, you have no idea how much it means to me to have someone listen and to try and help, I have felt so alone in my pain. If only Drs cared like everyone on this board does Thanks so much for caring.
