He has done ll the testing you spoke of and he has been really good about working with me...he talked to me about the narcotic drugs to which I voiced my concern about becoming addicted, he has put me on Neorontin, its a seizure med, but also used for chronic pain, have you ever heard of this before?

Hi Simeone, I havn't heard of the medication in which you speak of, but I hope it helps you. I can relate to your fear of becoming addictied to the narcotic drugs, I hold a very similar concern, my pain management Dr. said I need to be more open minded about taking the pain meds, as long as you remain aware and concerned about becoming addicted to the drugs, you hold a better chance of NOT becoming addicted to them. Most people become addicted when they take them carelessly. Of coarse you might become dependent on the meds, I feel that I have, I often take myself off of my meds just to see how I get by without them, and I can definatly feel the difference and I become very uncomfortable after a short while. As far as the adhesions from having the Gallbladder removed, well I developed some so I suppose it could happen to any one. Did you try the Hot Bath remedy? Even a Hot Shower works, lift your arm and let the hot, hot water drain down your side, I find it really helps when the side ach gets untolerable. God Bless and Care for You Tammy Lynn
